Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- Ground pepper to taste
- 1 pound fresh tomatoes, chopped
- Sea salt and herbs of your choice
Instructions
- Place olive oil and pepper to taste, onion, oregano, garlic, and basil in a medium saucepan over medium heat
- Cook for 5 minutes or until fragrant
- Add chopped tomatoes and bring to boil
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes
- season with salt and any additional herbs
